In his twenty-five year career as an accident attorney with Cunningham & Lansden, James L. Cunningham has supervised or personally handled over fifteen hundred accident cases throughout the State of California.

Mr. Cunningham has extensive experience in California personal injury cases including car accident and motorcycle accidents, wrongful death, and personal injury among others.

Mr. Cunningham received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Western Michigan University and his Juris Doctor Degree, Cum Laude, from the University of San Diego.

Mr. Cunningham served as Judge Pro Tem in both Superior and Municipal Court in California and as a Law School Instructor.

He is past president of the El Dorado County Bar Association, and past officer of the Ventura County Bar Association.

He is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the California Supreme Court, and various federal courts including U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Courts of Appeal For the 9th Circuit.

An avid 2,800 hour pilot, Mr. Cunningham has flown over thirty different types of aircraft and holds commercial, instrument and multi-engine ratings.
